SCCSVParser.framework has been made available for external use (Binary and Source direct download). This is an embeddable framework for reading CSV (Comma Separated Values) files which is in use in some of our internal tools and experiments for the future. We have decided to contribute it to the Mac OS X open source community.

StarLight pre-release 5 is now available (SDK Direct Download)! In response to user suggestion, ImageScale 2.2 (direct download) has been released with support for the usual suite of image file formats. They weren't in the original release since they weren't being used internally when the tool was first developed.
Additionally, StarLight continues to mature. Internal builds now have a much-expanded aggregate API which allows for powerful higher-order-messaging routines as well as complicated aggregate sub-selections to make it easier to define the constraints of the universe inside a piece of software. We are currently waiting to do more Tiger testing and add some tools to show off the power of aggregates before making a release.

Over the past few days we have been cleaning up some code for the release of an open source developer tool which we hope the OS X developer community will find useful: XTemplate. The tool allows the creation and modification of XCode file and project templates. More information is available on our open source page.
